Qualifications & experience

  • Fluent in English
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers) and basic administrative tasks.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Greeting and welcoming visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner
  • Managing the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
  • Answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate personnel, and taking messages when necessary
  • Coordinating appointments and scheduling meetings for executives and staff members
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders as needed.
