We are looking for a Category Agriinput Manager (Chemical). You will review products, evaluate suppliers, and develop merchandising initiatives with vendors and suppliers for specifically crop protection. Your high energy, drive, creativity, and outstanding communication skills will prevail to grow the business further and achieve continued company growth.
The role will be based out of Jakarta, reporting directly to the National Category Head of Indonesia.

What you will do:
- Analyze data or insights to determine industry and consumer trends
- Devise long-term development strategies for product categories
- Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful products
- Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services
- Place appropriate orders to ensure product availability that meets consumer demands
- Determine the positioning of a product category to maximize visibility
- Determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of a product category
- Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand product categories
- Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory
- Assume responsibility for budget development and revenue for the category
Who we are looking for:
- Extensive and proven experience of 6+ years as Sales Manager or Demand Manager Category Manager or equivalent in Chemical (Crop Protection) from an agri-input company
- Solid knowledge of category management of Chemical (Crop Protection), marketing and sales principles
- A solid understanding on Corn/Chili/Paddy Business is a plus
- A leadership style that is collaborative, empowering, and inclusive, which inspires confidence and builds a sense of community
- Proven experience in leading negotiations with different degrees of complexity and structuring commercial agreements
- An articulate communicator with highly developed presentation and interpersonal skills
- Fluent and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa are required.
- Sound judgment, integrity, high ethical standards, and a willingness to take responsibility and accountability
