Private Nanny / Household Assistant
We are seeking a caring, responsible and reliable nanny/household helper long term to join our family. We have one child who is 8 years old and goes to school from 8:30am-3pm. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for children and performing household chores. The position requires availability from Monday-Saturday full time. The job opportunity includes potentially traveling with them.
Description:
- Prepare meals and snacks for child
- Organise fun and enriching activities for children
- Coordinate daily schedules, for both children and their parents
- engaging in crafts or painting activities
- and supervising with after school activities, providing help when needed.
- Basic meal preparation for the child before pick up from school
- maintaining tidiness in areas related to the children’s activities (organizing toys, keeping clothes in order)
- Run errands, take children to appointments and help parents with tasks if needed
- Help child with their homework.
- Organise packing for children’s travel.
- Oversee the scheduling maintenance and repairs
- Handle the procurement of household supplies, groceries, and do basic meal prep.
- Assistance with Young Individuals: Overseeing their schedules and providing transport when required.
Personality traits of the individual:
- Demonstrated experience in childcare and household management.
- High level of adaptability and willingness to take initiative.
- Take initiative and accountability
- Have strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Genuine passion for working with kids.
- Be reliable, responsible, friendly, and respectful,loving and a kind-hearted nature.
- Have a good level of English
- A Trusting and respectful person is crucial in this role
