Responsibilities
- Report to the Senior Merchandiser.
- Support the Senior Merchandiser in monitoring and following up on orders with vendors, customers, suppliers, and internal parties to ensure order fulfillment, customer satisfaction, and timely delivery of orders.
- Ensure proper execution of orders according to the planned ‘Time and Action Plan’ on a regular basis to ensure on-time shipment with the right quality and quantity.
- Monitor the execution of order management processes and ensure they run effectively.
- Keep close track of production status and escalate expected delays or any critical and potential issues related to product quality and on-time delivery and provide updates to the Senior Merchandiser.
- Support the Senior Merchandiser in handling customer inquiries and communicating customer requirements to the factories.
- Able to resolve issues within the specified time frame and escalate them to a superior if necessary.
- Maintain and manage all working records, files, spreadsheets, charts, and materials.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Garment or Fashion Merchandising.
- 2-5 years of experience in men’s woven tops apparel (preferably) ideally covering the US market.
- Previous experience as a sourcing agent and factory experience will be advantageous.
- Passion and knowledge for products, including fabrics, construction, design, and costings, and familiarity with merchandising and product development processes.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Strong MS Office skills and proficiency in using all relevant tools and systems.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Occasional travel is required.
