Job Mission:

This position will be responsible for driving revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction for Garmin’s accounts in Indochina. This individual will be managing, maintaining, improving and developing account relationships through senior level engagements.
They will also develop strategies for profit and pricing proposals, as well as communicate and understand Total Cost of Ownership, industry trends, and critical success factors. The Account Manager will also be engaged with extended teams in responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals), product transition plans, and resource planning.


Job Description:

  • Business development as necessary to meet the sales target in Indonesia. 
  • Ensure delivery of sales results to meet the sales budget.
  • Provide advice and technical guidance to customer needs.
  • Leverage product knowledge to create sales strategies attractive to potential dealers.
  • Develop, maintain, and share Garmin product knowledge with dealers.
  • On-site technical support to dealers and OEM customers including product installation, training, and roadshows. 
  • Closely communication with dealers to facilitate the sales operation, as necessary.



  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Marine engineering, or electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in B2B, B2C or Government tender.
  • Demonstrates a customer service focus with proven experience in relationship building and providing quality customer service experiences.
  • Having experience or knowledge in Marine industries is an advantage.
  • Demonstrates strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and must be an articulate/fluent communicator who is at ease with public speaking.
  • With little/no supervision, able to travel, coordinate, and represent Garmin at industry and professional meetings, trade shows, and conferences and complete timely and succinct trip/status reports.
  • Good command of spoken and written Indonesian Bahasa and English.
