Position Summary

Sales executives are the key point of contact between an organization and customers, answering queries, offering advice, and introducing new products. Focus to Groom AB Customers, develop new businesses assigned in Coating and resin-related industries and retain sales from existing customers (maintain existing business)

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve the sales targets as set by the department sales manager and constantly maintain a high standard of customer service through active canvassing and cooperation with the entire department team.
  • Present and demonstrate, as applicable, the products and services to the customers by frequent and planned visits, by personal visits, or accompanied by superiors and principals’ representatives as required.
  • Perform effective market penetration by generating high number of inquiries from the market segment assigned and advising superiors in due time of sales opportunities where special assistance is required to secure orders – Manage the sales pipeline to drive new business opportunities to commercial success.
  • Report and update customer tracking and information system on daily, weekly and monthly basis using the approved department reporting system
  • Present the company and project a level of professionalism consistent with the company’s standards when contacting customers and when communicating with principals by keeping abreast of company policies and of the principal’s products and services.
  • Acquire sound product knowledge by keeping up-to-date with principals’ and other technical literature.
  • Be aware of customer needs, market trends, competitive products, and positioning by spending the majority of his time in the field.
  • Make a market survey and report pertaining to the assigned industries and products.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Chemicals/Chemical engineering/Industrial Engineering 
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in same field (Coating and Resin chemical sales)
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and good command in English
  • Posses demonstrated good networking skill
  • Good entrepreneurial skills and commercial thinking
  • Good in problem solving, planning and organizing
  • Good command in English, both written and spoken
  • Possess driving license (SIM A)
