About The Role
We are seeking talented individuals with at least 1 year of experience in B2B or B2X trading companies to join our accountant team for our Retail business unit.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate with all company departments involved in the accounting flow of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other receivables and payables.
- Prepare and produce complete subledger reports, intercompany reconciliations, and fixed asset and amortization ledgers on a monthly basis.
- Ensure correct cost allocation for monthly payroll and taxation accounts.
- Verify every journal integrated with the internal operational system through reconciliation and transaction history tracing.
- Monitor all accounts receivable and payable, including aging analysis.
- Prepare and provide documentation for internal and external auditors.
- Prepare local accounting reports.
- Knowledge or experience in tax administration, including VAT, WHT, and SPT Masa and Tahunan.
- Support ad-hoc requirements and tasks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a B2B or B2C trading company.
- Deep understanding of taxation implications. Brevet AB Certification at minimum.
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems, active cycle accounting, IFRS and/or PSAK, with the capability to monitor all yearly and periodical activities.
- Proficient in accounting and bookkeeping, with knowledge of general accountancy.
- Good communication skills in English (Mandarin skills are a plus).
