Role: Project Manager
From June 2010 to December 2011 (temporary)
Opening times: Full Time
Salary: £ 24,000 per year (plus benefits)
Location: Midlands Nottingham, East. Opportunities for flexible working hours.
Young Artists in Britain is an exciting new organization that presents the best of young and innovative creative talents of British national newspapers and international acts.
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated project manager with energy and commitment to the provision of exhibitions and events for young artists in Britain and abroad.
Excellent organization and communication skills with the ability to relate a variety of agencies, organizations and professionals in the visual arts are essential.
You must have a passion for working with people at the same time be able to work independently under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
• coordinate, organize and manage the project in Britain take part call for young artists in UKYA and international events like the Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean (BJCEM)
• Events co-ordinate regional partners.
• Coordination of the aspects of the contribution UKYA the World Event 2012 Young Artists
