RKI is a Jakarta based Group Holding Company owned by a consortium of Indonesia’s leading travel organisations including Dwidaya, Panorama, Smailing Tours, Eddy Yeo and Raymond. The group currently operates two businesses, Rajakamar.com and MG Holiday.

Rajakamar.com commenced operations in 2007 and was the first Indonesian hotel website focused solely on the needs of Indonesians travelling domestically. The business has grown successfully since launch based on a formula of a Bahasa Indonesia language website with a range of booking and payment options. Customers can book online and use a credit card or internet banking to pay or alternatively they can book via our 24×7 call centre and pay by cash or the most frequently used payment method, bank transfer. This flexibility is designed to make sure that all Indonesians can get access to the content and outstanding deals available to Rajakamar.com customers. In addition, our hotel content includes 135 cities and towns across Indonesia to meet the growing demands of increased travel outside the previously dominant Jakarta and Bali destinations. The other factor driving business is the development of new hotels across Indonesia and Rajakamar is well placed to assist these hotels as a part of their own distribution strategies to target the Indonesian traveller.

The success of the business is also underpinned by the ongoing investment from the impressive shareholder group that have come together to concentrate on the hotel distribution business at a time when more Indonesians’ are travelling domestically , aided by solid GDP growth, the growth of Low Cost Carriers and the development of new hotels.

MG HOLIDAY

MG Holiday commenced operations in 2000 with a team of 3 people including shareholders Raymond and Eddy Yeo. The business has grown to the largest B2B hotel distribution company for domestic hotels in Indonesia. Today MG Holiday has 6 offices and a team of over 260 staff members across Indonesia, and produces over 700,000 room nights for Indonesian based hotels. Over the last three years the company has grown revenue by over 20% a year from a focus on close working relationships with hotels and business partners and outstanding customer service. The MG Holiday business is expected to continue to grow impressively under the new ownership with plans in place to invest in technology, new office locations in areas such as Lombok and Manado and increased staff numbers.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS :

Selling hotels products to customers;
Responsible in issued domestic and international hotels;
Handling customer orders and payments;
Liaising with key partners such as hotels regarding bookings and schedules;
Undertaking general administration;
Dealing with complaints;
Using and updating IT skills, since information on hotels packages and bookings is usually accessed via a network;

JOB REQUIREMENT :

Minimal educational background is SMIP/SMK/SMU
Having minimal 2 years experiences in the same field
Understanding in English, minimum passively
Having a passion in tourism industry, and service attitude
Placement : West Jakarta or Central Jakarta
